We all know that scheduling and logistics in the uplinking business can be a challenge, to say the least. Okay, here is one week's lineup...

We started our week Saturday night at  New York's Madison Square Garden for HBO in HD. The event was a 12 round WBA Heavyweight title fight between James Toney and John Ruiz. Toney won in a lopsided decision, and became only the third fighter to win titles at both the middleweight and heavyweight divisions. Our next event was the New York Mets vs the Philadelphia Phillies in HD at Shea Stadium Monday night for ESPN. As the Moonlink truck pulled into Queens, TNT booked us for Tuesday night in Auburn Hills, Michigan in addition to a previous booking in Chicago for Wednesday night. That gave us less than 24 hours between events, so we flew a second operator / driver, Bob Rea, into LaGuardia. It took all night to get to Auburn Hills in time to park and power for the Detroit Pistons vs the Philadelphia 76'ers playoff game in HD. It turned out that the Pistons eliminated Philadelphia on Tuesday night in Game #5 of their first-round series. What a great game! But there was no time to lose. The Chicago Bulls playoff game #5 was less than a day away. Another midnight run got us to Chicago's United Center in time to broadcast the Bulls loss to the Washington Wizards in what was to be the second from last game of their amazing season. But wait, there's more! Just as we finished faxing out our HD setup for that evening, TNT scheduled our truck for Thursday night's Indiana Pacers vs Boston Celtics game #6 matchup at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. We barely had time to stow the dish in Chicago before we had to head out into the night for Indianapolis. Our last nocturnal drive took us back to Michigan for Friday morning and evening broadcasts for ESPN SportsCenter and ESPNews with Larry Brown, coach of the Detroit Pistons, and a one on one with Rip Hamilton.  As usual, every broadcast went off without a hitch, but WOW! what a week!
